Does Google Know Who You Are?
Look your business up in Google’s Knowledge Graph and see the confidence score it returns. That number — resultScore — is how sure Google is that you are who you say you are. Most businesses barely register, or return nothing at all.
How to Read the Score
- Dominant (2,000+) — Household-name confidence.
- Established (500–2,000) — Well connected and defensible.
- Emerging (50–500) — Known, but still ambiguous.
- Fragile (under 50) — Barely registers, or nothing at all.
resultScore is not a normalized 0–100 metric and Google does not publish a scale. It reflects how confidently a query maps to an entity, so it is most useful compared against another brand than read on its own. These bands are our reading aid, not an official Google grading.
No Entity = No Grounding
If the graph does not resolve you, every AI answer about you starts from guesswork — no matter how good your content is.
Run It on Your Competitor Too
The score gap is your entity-SEO roadmap, in one number. It tells you how much confidence you have to make up, and on what.
This Is the Free, Public API
Nothing proprietary is happening here. This page calls Google’s own Knowledge Graph Search API and shows you exactly what came back.
Now Do Something About the Number
A weak entity score is fixable. It takes consistent naming, structured data that actually validates, a Google Business Profile that corroborates the rest of your footprint, and third-party sources that agree with each other. That is the work we do.
